Toronto Mayor Rob Ford issued a threat that was directed towards Premier Dalton McGuinty. It was give me $ 150 million or I'll let loose "Ford Nation" against you in the October 6th, 2011 Provincial Election.
Say what!! Conservative poster boy, Rob Ford wants money from Liberal daddy, Dalton McGuinty. Well the answer to the threat from the Finance Minister was "Sorry we have no money to give you".
Mr. Ford if you need the money don't go hat in hand to the Province, or the Federal government. Last time I checked both upper levels of government are running major deficits and are fighting hard to reduce their deficts. You came into power, and so far you've kept your promises, and I'll give you credit for that, but to threaten that you will release "Ford Nation" is something if I were Premier I would turn around and tell you to go screw yourself for the next several months and I would not lift a finger to help you as Mayor of Toronto.
Now we all know that Rob Ford, along with his brother Doug Ford are as Conservative as they come, and even if the Premier was to give Ford the money, he would still campaign against him. So Ford really put his foot in his mouth on this one, and he should really think before he speaks.
